We love coming to Mi Tierra for the food, and the service is quite good. The staff are very quick and nice when serving your dishes. The only thing that's a bit off is having to order at the front of the kitchen and paying at the front register. The carnicería is pretty great and fresh.
The food is excellent! Wow this is definitely a hidden gem! The service was good and they were very accommodating. More like you are family. If you wanted a beer, you just go over to the refrigerator and get one. They just look at your table and that's how they charge you...whatever is on it...they put it on your bill. Very informal seating...but we didn't care. This also a little grocery store!
Love this place....authentic Mexico fare in every way! Worth the drive from Boise if you want homemade traditional dish's like a Mexican grandma would cook!
The BEST, authentic Mexican food we've found in Idaho! So fresh, hot and delicious! The chicharron and lengua tacos are the best I've ever had- so tender, and flavorful! Their rice and beans are by far the tastiest that I've ever had, and I'm not a huge fan of beans. We've come several times in the last month alone. Customer service is great- kind, smiling and friendly. Plenty of outside parking, and plenty of seats to dine in at! Do some shopping while you're there, too!
Their seasoned (preparada) carne asada is incredible! I've bought it more than 10 times and have never been disappointed.

Very good Tacos, quesadillas, and soups. The carnitas are my favorite, and the tacos are huge. Tacos are served with a grilled jalapeño if you'd like. Highly recommended
Loved that they have everything you need for a great family bbq and even a party! We will definitely be back to buy more products from the carnicería. The workers were very helpful and courteous!
